“I am happy to say my mother, a single parent, encouraged me every day to delight in the Lord. Cancer did not take her; it just expedited her reunification with Christ. Her legacy is manifested in the love I feel for Christ and my Church community.
I was confirmed and baptized in a pool of water in Kingston, Jamaica, by the late Anglican Bishop Robert Thompson.
Today, I think my mom and Bishop Thompson would be proud to know that I am confidently walking with the Lord encircled by a community of love at Grace Episcopal Church in Windsor, CT. “

“When I was transferred to Connecticut by the FAA, we chose to live in Windsor because it seemed to be the quintessential New England Town and it was close to Bradley International Airport. We began looking for a Church home and fell in love with Grace Church. The Parishioners were so welcoming and the Church Campus was again quintessential New England Episcopalian. We fell in love with Grace and so proud that our children grew up in such a wonderful Parish.”

“A lifelong resident of Windsor and Grace Church, I’ve served on the Vestry for more than 20 years, as a Vestry member, Senior Warden, and currently as Treasurer and Chairman of Building and Grounds.
Of all the endearing qualities of this church and congregation, I am most impressed by the resilience of this parish. Like many of the congregations in our past, we’ve always met the challenges of an ever-changing environment with strength, conviction, and faith.“
I have been a member of Grace Church since:
All of my life.

“I have been an Anglican from birth, so it was only natural for me to join the Episcopal church when I relocated to the United States.
I have been to 3 Episcopal churches, with Grace being the 3rd and final. The people and the welcoming atmosphere has made Grace, the church for my family and myself.“

“After relocating to Windsor sometime in 1998, I drove by Grace Church and was fascinated by the Beauty as it bore some resemblance to my Anglican Church in Jamaica. I attended services and each time was warmly welcomed by several members that gave me a feeling of warmth and love and since then has made Grace Church my family.”
I have been a member of Grace Church since: Since 1998.

“Walking through the doors of Grace Church 25 years ago, I realized this was where I belonged. For the next 20 years Paul and I drove in from East Granby to be here. Then, several years ago we moved to an apartment in the center of town. The qualities of acceptance, inclusiveness and spirituality at Grace Church have brought me great Peace.”
